Big Ideas for a Brighter Future: Join Us for the National Charter Schools Conference

October 19, 2015

This coming June, more than 4,500 members of the charter school movement will convene for the 16th annual National Charter Schools Conference (NCSC16). After a boisterous, informative, and inspiring conference in New Orleans last summer, we are bringing the National Charter Schools Conference to Nashville, TN to celebrate our movement’s many accomplishments throughout the past 25 years and to begin thinking about the next 25.
Our theme, Big Ideas for a Brighter Future, is particularly fitting in Tennessee where reform efforts like the Achievement School District are setting ambitious performance goals so that every child can have a bright future. Charter schools across the country are making great strides to improve educational opportunities for students, and NCSC16 is a great place to learn from some of the best charter school innovators and educational leaders; you’ll be certain to bring proven practices back to your classrooms and community. Above all, NCSC16 is YOUR conference. It is our goal to ensure that all members of the charter school movement are represented at NCSC16, but we need your help to ensure that all voices are heard. If you are doing something great in your school or community and want to share your work in Nashville, please submit a session proposal before our deadline this Thursday, October 22nd. And, in the coming weeks, we will offer opportunities to become more involved with NCSC16, including voting for breakout sessions online with the Session Selector and joining our NCSC16 Ambassador Program. If you would like more information on either of these opportunities, please email us at NCSC@publiccharters.org. Register today to secure your spot at NCSC16 and join us in Nashville and save more than $300 on full-price registration.
