Washington, D.C. Nina Rees, president and CEO of the National Alliance for Public Charter Schools, released a statement today as the U.S. House of Representatives passed the Every Student Succeeds Act of 2015, which reauthorizes the Elementary and Secondary Education Act.
“The National Alliance applauds the overwhelming bipartisan vote in support of the Every Student Succeeds Act. We commend Chairman Kline and Ranking Member Scott for their strong leadership in steering this bill through conference.
“This vote brings us one step closer to an improved law, and we encourage the Senate to pass this important legislation and send to President Obama for his signature.”
