1940s original vintage double breasted woollen blue check overcoat

Original 1940s ? men’s overcoat by Prestbrook Clothing , Made in England. Great for authentic reenactment or costuming. Double breasted with wide notched lapels, strong wide shoulderline. Single decorative button to cuffs Single deep vent to rear Single working pockets with flaps Part lined and hand finished Feels like a mohair blend - colour is a muted blue check, it’s really nicely made. Flaws - there are a number of moth grazes to the surface when angled to light. Worst is a little patch under the right hand pocket flap, and then some light ‘grazing’ on the fabric just below the flap. I’ve pictured all I could find - other than that it is in very clean and in good condition and looks to have been saved for best. Colours are lovely! Measures Chest 44” with a little ease Shoulder to Shoulder 19” Sleeve head to cuff just over 26” Nape to hem 44” I have another slightly earlier vintage men’s suit listed.
