Double matted custom distressed wood frame.
Mr. Swayhoover was born in NYC. He studied Art at NY College @ Farmingdale on Long Island and at the School of Visual Arts. At the beginning of his career, he divided his time between painting and a successful career in advertising. In 1966, he left advertising because the demand for his canvases increased. He is the recipient of over 25 awards including the Solomon R Guggenheim Award given by the Salmagundi Club of NY. His work has been in museum shows and on magazine covers. Some of his work hangs in important private collections as well as corporate collections of IBM, Chase, CBS, Raymond James, and many others. He is now one of the most collected Artist in America.
