I don't know what year it was manufactured. There is no date in the paperwork. This was my grandfather's, who was known to always have the highest quality things. I'd ask him for more info if he was still around, but unfortunately he isn't and I don't have any additional info other than if I had to guess this was probably from the 60s, 70s, or 80s.
I don't see stamps on the lighter to see if the metal is sterling or not but it does have an aged patina on it that makes it look gunmetal/tarnished color.
Made in Japan.
Weight: The lighter weighs approximately 31 pennyweights which equals approximately 48.2 grams. See last two pics for this.
