I handmade this quilt using one of my favorite characters. Sunbonnet Sue that lasted through time and it still a favorite young and old. The Sunbonnet Sue squares in this quilt have been machine embroidered. I used colors of high quality calico like fabrics spaced inbetween Sunbonnet Sue. The quilt has been machine quilted with a couple of different patterns. The border and colorful fabrics were quilted using the feather embroidery. The embroidered squares were quilted using circles. The size of this quilt is 34 x 50. I used warm and white as the batting. This would be very nice for the nursery and that new baby girl. Please let me know if you have any questions.
