New, with tags Swimsuit by Roaman's. 100% stretch nylon. Union made in the USA.
Marked size 40! Rare, larger size in vintage swimwear.
Excellent condition, never worn. However, it has a musty smell from storage. I did not want to launder, because I would have to remove the tags. I think a washing and perhaps some airing (or one dip in a chlorinated pool,) and the smell will be gone.
Tummy compression panel in body of suit, built in bra, no underwire.
Solid purple, beautifully shaped with the almost-skirt bottom that is SO Marilyn Monroe. Lovely white edging around the bust and straps.
Stretch nylon, so has stretch. Measurements are taken UNstretched.
